Hours: 40 hours per week, 3 nights, 2 days
Salary: Dependant of experience.
The Bakery Dunbar has an opening for a full time artisan baker/ patissier with a professional attitude that is passionate and creative about all aspects of baking from sour dough breads to fine patisserie.
We are a community owned bakery, providing our local community with artisan sour dough breads, French patisserie and savouries. We featured in ITV’s 2012 ‘Britain’s Best Bakery’ making it all the way to the final, finishing as runners up in the competition. This is your opportunity to join a team of award winning bakers and patissiers.
During the night shifts you will work alongside one of our bakers, learning to take charge and eventually running the night bake, ensuring that all of the sourdoughs and all other yeasted breads are baked to perfection. For the day shifts you will work alongside our patissiers, preparing all the cakes and patisserie fresh for the shop each day. Here at the bakery we strive for consistency and to provide the community with the highest quality breads and cakes.
