Regular Bread

Published Categorised as News

If you cannot get bread daily, you may still enjoy our wholesome and nutritious ‘real bread’ on a regular basis. For example, a group of villagers in Athelstaneford that can’t get into Dunbar High Street easily, have organised for a weekly delivery of bread to the village – a self-organised ‘Village Bread Basket’ scheme. Why not do the same in your village or workplace? Collect and phone-in everybody’s orders a couple of days before and then collect and deliver or distribute. Handy too if your work pattern doesn’t permit a visit to the High Street.

Also, did you know that the Crunchy Carrot will now deliver a bread order to supplement your regular veg box? Contact them to find out more: 01368 860000.

And if you are not a regular to Dunbar, you may know we were at the Haddington Town Market this Saturday. We had sold out by 1:30, even with a double production, but we hope this becomes a regular fixture. A special thanks to all the volunteers who assisted on the stall and with deliveries, this would not have been possible without them, and the gargantuan effort by the whole team to create spectacular displays of breads and patisserie in Dunbar and breads in Haddington.
